The National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research ( NITTTR ) Chennai was setup in 1964 by the Government of India under the Ministry of Human Resource Development. It ensure quality in technical education in South India comprising the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamilnadu and the Union territory of Pondicherry. It also collaborate with national and international agencies interested in and/or deriving benefits from technical and vocational education including business, industry and service sectors. It offers quality, flexible, relevant and cost effective programs in HRD for Technical Vocational Education System.

NITTTR Chennai invites applications for various Faculty positions :

1. Assistant Professors
   No. of vacancies : 4 posts
   Departments : Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Educational Communication,  Educational Management
   Pay scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 6000/-
   Age limit : Candidate should not be more than 35 years of age.
2. Associates Professors
   No. of vacancies : 6 posts
   Subjects : Curriculum Development & Extension Centre Activities, Civil Engineering, Educational Management, Electrical engineering, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
   Pay scale : Rs. 37400 – 67000/- with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 9000/-
   Age limit : Candidate should not be more than 45 years of age.
3. Professors
   No. of vacancies : 6 posts
   Subjects : Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Educational Media, Extension Centre, Mechanical Engineering, Rural Development / Sustainable Development .
   Pay scale : Rs. 37400 – 67000/- with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 10000/-
   Age limit : Candidate should not be more than 60 years of age.
