National Institute of Technology Hamirpur was established in 1986 as Regional Engineering College as a joint and cooperative enterprise of the Government of India and Government of Himachal Pradesh. Undergraduate, Post graduate and Doctorate Education in Engineering, Science & Humanities are provided in the Institute.

NITH invites applications for the following positions:

Professor
Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 35 years.
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.37400-67000.
Experience: Candidates should have minimum 10 years of teaching/ research/industrial experience out of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in an IIT, NIT or comparable institute of Higher learning or equivalent of 6 years at the level of Assistant Professor.
Associate Professor
Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 35 years.
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.37400-67000.
Qualification: Candidates should have Ph.D degree with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade at the B.Tech/M.Sc/M.A./MBA level.
Experience: Candidates should have minimum 6 years of  teaching/ research/industrial experience after getting Ph.D Degree, out of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in an IIT, NIT or comparable institute including CSIR Lab and industries.
Assistant Professor
Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 35 years.
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.15600-39100.

Application fees:
Candidates should make Bank draft of Rs.500/- in favour of Director, NIT, Hamirpur payable preferably at State Bank of India, NIT, Hamirpur (HP) (Branch Code- 10367) or payable on any Nationalized Bank at Hamirpur (HP).
