National Institute of Technology, Goa ( NIT Goa ) was started on 30th October 2009 by the Government of India. It is one of the NITs. Its mentor institute is NITK, Surathkal. NITK, Surathkal is one of the top technological universities in India and was established in 1960. It is situate din Mangalore City. It is fully equipped with modern techniques of teaching.

NIT Goa invites applications from Indian Nationals for the following faculty & non Faculty positions :

  1. 1 post is for Professor
    Pay scale : PB – 4 with AGP of Rs. 10000/-
    Qualification : Candidate should posses 1st class degree of Bachelors / Masters with the degree of Ph.D in the relevant subject.
    Experience : Minimum 5 years of teaching experience as an associate professor .
  2. 2 posts are for Associate Professors
    Pay scale : PB – 4 with AGP of Rs. 9000/-
    Qualification : Candidate should posses 1st class degree of Bachelors / Masters with the degree of Ph.D in the relevant subject.
    Experience : At least 8 years of experience as an assistant professors.
  3. Assistant Professors
    Pay scale : PB – 3 with AGP of Rs. 6000/-
    Qualification : Candidate should posses the degree of Ph.D with Bachelors degree in the relevant subjects OR the degree of M.Tech / M.Phil with masters / bachelors degree in the relevant subject.
  4. 1 post for Registrar
    Pay scale : PB – 4 with AGP of Rs. 10000/-
    Qualification : Candidate should posses masters degree with minimum 55% marks and PG degree in Engineering is desirable.
    Experience : 15 years of experience as Lecturer / Assistant Professor OR Comparable experience in research establishments, institutes of technical education or n Government.
  5. 1 post for Resident Engineer
    Pay scale : PB – 3 with AGP of Rs. 6600/-
    Qualification : Candidate should posses the degree of B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering .
    Experience : Minimum 8 years of experience in Civil engineering related to designing and estimation,construction management and maintenance of educational campuses, buildings .
  6. 1 post for Assistant Registrar
    Pay scale : PB – 3 with AGP of Rs. 5400/-
    Qualification : Candidate should posses masters degree with 55% marks in UGC seven point scale with the degree of management or law and the knowledge of financial management is desirable.
    Experience : At least 5 years of administrative experience in any of the high profile institution.
  7. 1 post for Accountant / Superintendent
    Pay scale : PB – 2 with AGP of Rs. 4200/-
    Qualification : Candidate should posses bachelors degree with teh knowledge of computer / word Processor .
    experience : At least 2 years of experience in office management .
  8. 1 for Stenographer
    Pay scale : PB – 1 with AGP of Rs. 2400/-
    Qualification : Candidate should have bachelors degree speed of at least 80 wpm in shorthand and typing speed of 50 wpm .
  9. 2 post for Technicians
    Pay scale : PB – 1 with AGP of Rs. 2000/-
    Qualification : Candidate should posses 3 years diploma in engineering OR B.Sc degree in the relevant field.
  10. 2 posts are for Junior Assistant
    Pay scale : PB – 1 with AGP of Rs. 2000/-
    Qualification : Candidate should be graduate with the typing speed of minimum 40 wpm and should be perfect in word processing.
