National Centre for Radio Astrophysics ( NCRA ) of the Tata Institute of  Fundamental Research (TIFR) is a leading centre for research in a wide range of areas in astronomy and  astrophysics. NCRA has built and operates Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope ( GMRT) and also built the Oaty Radio Telescope ( ORT), most powerful radio telescopes.

NCRA invites applications for the following positions :

Engineer E
Posts: 1
Remuneration: Candidates will get pay of Rs.21900 in PB-3 15600-39100 and GP Rs.7600.
Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 40 years.
Qualification: Candidates should have first class BE ( Mech ) or equivalent from a recognized university.
Experience: Candidates should have minimum 9 years of experience in the relevant field.
Engineer D
Posts: 1
Remuneration: Candidates will get pay of Rs.18750 in PB-3 15600-39100 and GP Rs.6600.
Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 35 years.
Qualification: Candidates should have first class BE ( Mech ) or equivalent from a recognized university.
Experience: Candidates should have minimum 4 years of experience in the relevant field.
Engineer C
Posts: 1
Remuneration: Candidates will get pay of Rs.15600 in PB-3 15600-39100 and GP Rs.5400.
Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 28 years.
Qualification: Candidates should be BE/BTech or equivalent in Electrical Engineering from recognized university.
Experience: Candidates should have minimum 2 years of experience in relevant field.

Administrative Officer C
Posts: 1
Remuneration: Candidates will get pay of Rs.15600 in PB-3 15600-39100 and GP Rs.5400.
Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 43 years.
Qualification: Candidates should be Graduate with at least 60% marks and Diploma in Management.
Experience: Candidates should have minimum 5 years of experience in the relevant field.
Scientific Assistant B ( Trainee )
Posts: 1
Remuneration: Candidates will get pay of  Rs.9300 in PB-2 9300-34800 and GP Rs.4200.
Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 40 years.
Qualification: Candidates should have a degree of B.Sc ( Physics/ Electronics ) / BCS with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
Graduate Trainee
Posts: 4
Stipend : Candidates will get stipend of Rs.9000 p.m. for first year and Rs. 10000 for second year.
Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 25 years.
Qualification: Candidates should be first class BE/BTech with electronics/Computer Science or MSc (Electronics/Computer Science).
