National Council of Educational Research and Training ( NCERT ) was established in 1961 by the Government of India. It is an autonomous organization to assist and advice the governments at the Centre and in States in the implementation of their policies for education. It is governed by five statutory committees viz. Governing Council, Executive Committee, Finance Committee, Establishment Committee and Programme Advisory Committee. The Council was established with the objective of promoting educational research, developing model text books etc.

NCERT invites applications for the following positions :

1. Teacher Fellows
Posts: 2
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.25000/- p.m.
Qualification: Candidates should be B.Sc./B.Ed./B.El.Ed./B.A., B.Ed. with Maths as one of the leading subjects with minimum 55% marks.
Desirable: Candidates should have a Degree of  M.Ed/M.A or M.Sc (Maths) with two or three years of experience in the relevant field.
2. Administrative Assistant
Posts: 1
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.20000/- p.m.
Qualification: Candidates should have B.Com Degree from recognized University and having 3 years of experience in Account related work with basic knowledge of computers. OR Retired employees of Govt. of India/State Govt./Autonomous Body with knowledge and experience of Accounts related works
3. Computer Operator
Posts: 1
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.9000/- p.m.
Qualification: Candidates should be graduate from a recognized university and Certificate/Diploma Course in Desk Top Publishing with 2 years experience OR Higher Secondary from a recognized Board or equivalent with 4 years experience in a reputed Publishing House. Preferably in book making. Candidates should have Proficiency in Computer Software – MS Office, Page Maker and having Proficiency in English and Hindi Typing.
Desirable: Coral Draw, Photoshop, Math type 5.2
