Nava Nalanda Mahavihara, Nalanda is an institution which was established in 1952 by the govt of Bihar. It is an institution for the learning of Buddhist doctrines and Pali.
Nava Nalanda Mahavihara invites application for the following posts:
1. Professor in Budhist Philosophy :No of posts- 1
Experience: At least 10 years teaching experience of post-graduate teaching at the University/ National level institutions, including experience of guiding research at doctoral level.
2. Professor in Pali : No of posts 4
Qualification: At least 10 years teaching experience of post-graduate teaching at the University/ National level institutions, including experience of guiding research at doctoral level.
3. Assistant Professor in Pali: No of posts 4
Qualification: Master’s degree in the specified subject with at least 55% marks.
4. Assistant Professor in Chinese & Japanese: No of posts 1
Qualification: Candidate should have Master’s degree in the specified subject with at least 55% marks.
5. Assistant Professor in Philosophy: No of posts 1
Qualification: Master’s degree in the specified subject with at least 55% marks.
6. Librarian: No of Posts 1
Qualification: Masters Degree in Library Science with 55% marks. , thirteen years experience as a Deputy Librarian in a university library.
7. Typist: No of Posts 1
Qualification: Candidate should have the Knowledge of Typing on Computer with a minimum speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi and 40 words per minute in English.
8. Research Assistant: No of Posts 1
Qualification: Candidate should be 10th pass with knowledge of drafting letters.
Pay Scale from Sr.No. 1 to 6 is Rs.15600-39100 and from 7 to 8 is Rs.5200-20200. Last date of submission of application is 27th Feb 2010
