Military College of Electronic and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME) was setup in 1946 as 1 EME School at Kirkee. It offers graduate and postgraduate engineering courses in the fields of computer science, communications, radars, missiles, aeronautics and mechanical engineering. Also management courses for middle and senior level officers as well as diploma courses in various engineering disciplines for other ranks of the Corps of EME are offered by MCEME. The college received the Golden Peacock National Training Award in 1997 for "excellence in training practices" and also in 1998 for "Outstanding achievement in Pursuit of total quality".

MCEME invites applications for the following posts :

1. Lower Division Clerk ( LDC )
   no. of posts : 1
   Age limit : 18 – 25 years
   Pay scale : Rs. 5200 – 20200/- with GP of Rs. 1900/-
   Qualification : Candidate should have passed Matriculation exam with speed of 30 words per minute in English Typing.
2. Draughtsman Grade – II
   No. of posts : 2
   Age limit : 18 – 25 years
   Pay scale :Rs. 5200 – 20200/- with GP of Rs. 2400/-
   Qualification : Candidate should have passed matriculation exam with 2 year diploma certificate in Draughtsmanship ( Mechanical ) and also 1 year of experience is required.
3. Laboratory Assistant
   No. of posts : 2
   Age limit : 18 – 25 years
   Pay scale : Rs. 5200 – 20200/- with GP of Rs. 2400/-
   Qualification : Candidate should be graduate in science with Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics OR should have Diploma in Electrical with 2 years of experience .
4. Civilian Motor Driver ( OG )
   No. of posts : 14
   Age limit : 18 – 27 years
   Pay scale : Rs. 5200 – 20200/- with GP of Rs. 1900/-
   Qualification : Candidate should have the Civilian Driving Licence for Heavy motors with 2 years of experience of driving such vehicles.
5. Cinema Operator Grade – I
   No. of posts : 1
   Age limit : 18 – 25 years
   Pay scale : Rs. 5200 – 20200/- with GP of Rs. 1900/-
   Qualification : Candidate should have passed matriculation exam with Cinema Operator Certificate / License issued by any state Government Authority.
6. Poster Artist
   No. of posts : 1
   Age limit:18 – 25 years
   Pay scale : Rs. 5200 – 20200/- with GP of Rs. 1900/-
   Qualification : Candidate should be Middle Pass with at least 3 years of experience in any art work.
7. Cook
   No. of posts : 2
   Age limit : 18 – 25 years
   Pay scale : Rs. 5200 – 20200/- with GP of Rs. 1900/-
   Qualification : Candidate should have passed matriculation exam and should have the knowledge of Indian Cooking with proficiency.
