Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh ( MCC ) came into existence on 24th May 1994. Water supply is no more a problem in Chandigarh . Municipal Corporation has been making constant efforts in improve the water supply distributions in the city by plugging leakages & Checking the theft of water. MCC is doing it’s best to solve the problem of sewerage disposal,  storm water drainage, street lightning, Health and sanitation, roads and bridges, Horticulture, rehabilitation of colonies, IT sectors, and all. Because of all these efforts of MCC , at present Chandigarh is the best city in Punjab and Haryana.

MCC invites applications for the following posts:

• 4 posts are for Junior Engineers ( CIVIL ) for the class of Group-C Non Gazetted.
  Age limit: 18 – 25 years.
  Remuneration: Rs. 10300- 34800/- with GP of Rs. 3800/- + other allowances.
  qualification: Candidate should have Diploma in Civil Engineering .
• 2 posts are for Junior Engineers ( Horticulture ) for the class of Group-C Non Gazetted.
  Age limit: 18 – 25 years.
  Remuneration: Rs. 10300- 34800/- with GP of Rs. 3800/- + other allowances.
  qualification: Candidate should have the degree of B.Sc. in Agriculture with Horticulture and 3 years course after pre – university of a recognised university.

Last date: 16th April 2010.

Note: Interested candidates has to make DD of Rs.200/- in favour of Commissioner, Municipal Corporation , Chandigarh and send it with application form before the last date to the office of Chief Engineer, Municipal Corporation , Chandigarh.
