Life Insurance in its modern form came into India from England in the year 1818. LIC had 5 Zonal Offices , 33 divisional offices and 212 branches apart from its corporate office in the year 1956. LIC had about 200 crores of new business in 1957 which has crossed 7000 crore sum assured  in 1985-86. Today LIC has about 100 divisional offices, 8 Zonal offices and 2048 fully computerized branch offices.

LIC invites applications for the posts of ADO (Apprentice Development Officers ) in the jurisdiction of following 8 Zonal and various divisional with pay scale of Rs. 7440-18560/- Stipend of Rs. 1242/-month.

Age limit: Interested candidate should have the age limit of 21 – 30 years.

Qualifications: Candidate should have Masters degree in Business Administration in Marketing / should have PG Diploma in Marketing .

Note : Written test will be held on 13th June 2010 , Sunday and selected candidates will be called for Interview .

Application fees: Fees Payment Challan of Rs. 300/- should be paid at any of the LIC Office.
