Life insurance is a contract that pledges payment of an amount to the person assured (or his nominee) on the happening of the event insured against. Life Insurance Corporation of India ( LIC ) has 2048 fully computerized branch offices, 109 divisional offices, 8 zonal offices, 992 satellite offices and the Corporate office. Its main aim is to increase mobilization of people’s savings by making insurance-linked savings adequately attractive.

LIC Of India invites applications from Indian Nationals for the post of Direct sales executives in west Zone and the details are :

• Pune I – 135 posts
• Satara – 120 posts
• Thane – 144 posts

Age limit : Minimum 21 years and maximum 35 years
Remuneration : Rs. 25000/- per month
Qualification : Candidate should have Bachelors degree and candidates with Bachelor Degree or
Diploma in Marketing /Management will be preferred and Good working knowledge of English and also one Regional language is desirable.

Last date : 28th August 2010
Application fees : DD of Rs. 100/- drawn in favour of Life Insurance Corporation of India payable at respective Divisional Headquarters. Candidate should write his name and date of birth on the reverse of DD .
