Life Insurance Corporation of India was created on 1st September 1956 with the objective of spreading Life Insurance much more widely and in particular to the rural areas. LIC has about 109 divisional offices, 8 Zonal Offices, with 2048 fully computerized branch offices. The main aim of the LIC is to light the lamps of security in as many homes as possible.

LIC invites applications for the following position on contract basis of 3 years under the jurisdiction of Eastern Zonal Offices :

Direct Sales Executives
Posts: 1147
Age limit: Candidates should be between 21-35 years as on 1.05.2010.
Remuneration: Candidates will get an amount of Rs.25000/- p.m. on achieving the business parameters. There is no upper limit to earn remuneration based on performance.
Qualification: Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University. Preference may be given to those candidates who possess the Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Marketing/ Management. Candidates should have a Proficiency knowledge of English and basic knowledge of computers.
