Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) was formed on 1st September, 1956, with the objective of spreading life insurance much more widely and in particular to the rural areas with a view to reach all insurable persons in the country, providing them adequate financial cover at a reasonable cost. LIC had 5 zonal offices, 33 divisional offices and 212 branch offices, apart from its corporate office in the year 1956. Today LIC functions with 2048 fully computerized branch offices, 109 divisional offices, 8 zonal offices, 992 satellite offices and the Corporate office. The main objective of the LIC is maximize mobilization of people’s savings by making insurance-linked savings adequately attractive.

LIC invites applications for Financial Services Executives proposed to be engaged by various Offices of the Corporation on Contract basis for 3 years under the jurisdiction of Zonal Office, Hyderabad as per details below:

Financial Service Executive (FSE)
Posts: 137
Age limit: Candidates should be between 21-35 years as on 1.06.2010.
Qualification: Candidates should be graduate from a recognized university. Candidates those having Degree/ Diploma in Marketing/ Marketing will be given preference. Candidates should have good knowledge of English and know Regional language. Candidates should have a good knowledge of computer especially in Power Point/ Word/ Excell.
Selection Procedure: Candidates who have cleared written tests and have good performance in interview will be selected. The Corporation reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to be called for written test and/or interview commensurate with number of Financial Service Executives to be engaged and the decision of the Corporation in this regard shall be final. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

Application fee: Candidates should make a crossed Demand Draft of Rs.100/- drawn in favour of LIC of India, Kolkata. For SC/ST Candidates there will be no fee.
