It has two dock systems – Kolkata Dock System at Kolkata with the oil wharves at Baj Baj and Haldia Dock Complex at Haldia – have a combination of facilities with a lot of attractive packages. Kolkata Port Trust invites applications from Indian Nationals fro the post of Chief Engineers and the details are as following :

Last date for teh receipt of application : 10th September 2010

Chief Engineers
No. of vacancies : 6 posts
Pay scale : Rs. 32900 – 58000/-
Age limit : Candidate should not be more than 45 years of age as on 1st September 2010.
Qualification : Candidate should 1st class MOT ( Combined or Motor ) Certificate issued by teh Directors General of Shipping.

Note : Interested and eligible candidate should send bio data along with 2 recent passport size photographs before the last date to the Director, Marine Department, Kolkata Port Trust, 15 Strand Road, Kolkata – 700 001. And an envelop containing the application should be super scribed as “Application for the post of Chief Engineer at Kolkata Dock System”.
