In 1932 F.X. Perira and Sons (Travancore) Pvt. Ltd was established, the forerunner to KMML. In 1956 it was taken over by the State Government and was place under the control of the Industries Department. In 1972 the unit was converted into limited company by the name The Kerala Minerals and Metals Ltd. Its main objective is of optimum utilisation of mineral wealth found along the sea coast of Kollam-Alappuzha Districts.

KMML invites applications for the following positions :

Executive Trainee (Chemical)
Posts: 8
Qualification: Candidates should have a Degree of  Chemical Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
Executive Trainee (Mechanical)
Posts:8
Qualification: Candidates should have a Degree of Mechanical Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
Executive Trainee (Electrical)
Posts: 3
Qualification: Candidates should have a Degree of Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
Executive Trainee (Instrumentation)
Posts: 2
Qualification: Candidates should have a Degree in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
Executive Trainee (Civil)
Posts: 1
Candidates should have a Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks.

Note:
Stipend : Candidates will get Stipend of Rs.12000/- p.m for first year and Rs. 14000 in Second year. After satisfactory completion of training candidates will get 14360/- per mensum.
Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 28 years as on 1.4.2010
Eligible Candidates with MBA will be given preference.
