Jobs in Tea Board of India 2010


The Tea Board of India was formed on 1st April 1954. Its head office is situated in Kolkata. The Tea Board manages financial and technical assistance for cultivation, manufacture and marketing of tea. It is also involved in Research and Development activities for augmentation of tea production and improvement of tea quality. It also helps unorganised small growers sectors financially and technically . Government provides funds to the Tea Board through Plan and Non-Plan Budgetary allocations.

The Tea Board of India invites applications from Indian Nationals for the post of Stenographer from the Physically Challenged categories and the details are as given:

Grade III Stenographer
Age limit: Candidate should not be more than 37 years,
Pay scale: PB-I Rs.5,200-20,200/- with GP of Rs.2400/-
Qualifications: Candidate should be Graduate and should have the speed of 80 words/minute in Shorthand and speed of 40 words/minute in typing with the knowledge of computer applications.

Last date: 31st May 2010
Note: Interested candidate should send application to The Secretary, Tea Board, 14 Biplabi Trailokya Maharaj Sarani, Kolkata – 700001 before the last date. And application should be made in plain paper neatly typewritten in double space giving complete Bio-Data together with attested copies of the testimonials and documents in support of physical disability and educational qualification.
