Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Textile Management ( SVPITM ) was formed in 2002 by the Government of India under the Ministry of Textiles. It is related with the field of professional Textile Management Education. It is professionalizing the textiles industry, by creating successful professionals, who distinguish themselves by their intellectual capital, commitment to excellence and continuous development.

SVPITM invites applications for the following faculty positions:

1. Professor ( Marketing )
   Pay scale: PB-4 Rs.37400-67000/- with GP of Rs.8900/-
   Qualifications: Candidate should have the degree of Ph.D in the relevant discipline.
   Experience: Minimum  8 – 10 years of experience in Teaching/ Research and / or in industry at Senior Managerial Level.
2. Assistant Professor ( Marketing )
   Pay scale: PB-3 Rs.15600-39100/- with GP of Rs.6600/-
   Qualification: Candidate should be post graduate with 1st class in the respective discipline.
   Experience:minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Teaching/ Research and / or in industry at Managerial Level.
3. Assistant Professor ( Textiles / Apparel )
   Pay scale: PB-3 Rs.15600-39100/- with GP of Rs.6600/-
   Qualification: Candidate should be post graduate with 1st class in the respective discipline.
   Experience:minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Teaching/ Research and / or in industry at Managerial Level.
4. Assistant Professor (Information Technology )
   Pay scale: PB-3 Rs.15600-39100/- with GP of Rs.6600/-
   Qualification: Candidate should be post graduate with 1st class in the respective discipline.
   Experience:minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Teaching/ Research and / or in industry at Managerial Level.

* Candidates with Ph.D / M.B.A. or equivalent will be preferred.
