Jamia Millia Islamia was established in 1920 at Aligarh but later on it was shifted to New Delhi. Maulana Mehmud Hassan laid the foundation stone of Jamia Millia Islamia. Jamia has a number of centres of learning and research, like Mass Communication Research Centre (MCRC), Academy of Third World Studies (ATWS) etc. The Jamia is also marching ahead in the field of Information Technology (IT). It offers various undergraduate and postgraduate IT courses. Apart from this, the Jamia has a campus wide network which connects a large number of its departments and offices.

Jamia Millia Islamia invites applications for the following post:

* Finance Officer
(
On tenure basis for five years )
Pay scale: Rs. 37400-67000/- with GP of Rs. 10000/-
Qualifications: Candidate should posses Master’s degree in Arts or Finances with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade in the UGC seven point scale.
Experience: Candidate should have minimum 15 years of teaching experience at the University level out of which 8 years in Reader’s grade, preferably having professional degree along with experience in Educational Administration in the area of Finance & Accounts.
And the knowledge of Hindi and Urdu is desirable.
