Special Economic Zone was announced in April 2000 and SEZs in India functioned from 1.11.2000 to 09.02.2006 under the provisions of the Foreign Trade Policy and fiscal incentives were made effective through the provisions of relevant statutes.

SEZ invites applications for the various posts:

Note: All the posts are on Deputation basis in the office of the Development Commissioner, Indore SEZ. And last date for the submission of application form is 9th April 2010.

1. 2 posts are for Assistant Development Commissioner
   Pay scale: Pre-revised Rs. 6500-10500/-
   Eligibility Criteria: Candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in the field of Industrial development or foreign trade. Officers under the central Government should hold analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department.
2. 5 posts are for Preventive Officer
   Pay scale: Pre-revised Rs. 5500-10500/-
   Eligibility criteria: Officers of the Central Board of Excise and Customs should hold analogous posts regular basis. and should have at least 2 years of experience in Excise or Customs procedural work.
3. 1 posts is for Section Officer (Accounts)
   Pay scale: Pre-revised Rs. 5500-9000/-
   Eligibility criteria: Officers under the central / state government should hold analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department. Candidate should have passed in the Subordinate Account Service or equivalent examination conducted by any one of the organized Accounts Department of the Central Government.
4. 1 post is for Stenographer Gr. I
   Pay scale: Rs. 5500-9000/-
   Eligibility Criteria: Officers under the central / state government should hold analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department with eight years’ regular service in the post of Stenographer in the pay scale of Rs. 4000-6000/- and speed of 100 words ,per minute in English shorthand and 40 words per minute in English typewriting, knowledge of computers is desired.
5. 1 post is for Stenographer Gr. II
   Pay scale: Rs. 5000-8000/-
   Eligibility criteria: Officers under the central / state government should hold analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department with three years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment there to on regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs. 4500-7000 or equivalent in the parent cadre.
6. 4 posts are for Stenographer Gr. III
   Pay scale: Pre-revised Rs. 4000-6000/-
   Eligibility criteria:Officers under the central / state government should hold analogous posts on regular basis or LDC in the pay scale of Rs. 3050- 75-3950-80-4590 with eight years regular service in the grade, and speed of 100 words ,per minute in English shorthand and 40 words per minute in English typewriting, knowledge of computers is desired.
