Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar ( IITGn ) is situated in at Chandkheda, about 15 minutes drive from both Ahmadabad and Gandhinagar. It is mentored by an existing IIT. Fully furnished accommodation facilities for all the students are available in the building complex across the street from the Institute. A B. Tech. programme in the Chemical, Electrical and Mechanical engineering branches. It also offers Ph.D. programme in several disciplines in Engineering (Chemical, Civil, Electrical and Mechanical), Sciences (Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics) and Humanities & Social Sciences (Cognitive Science, Economics, English, Philosophy and Sociology) – all these courses are offered by IITGn.

1. Junior Engineer
   no. of Posts: 2
   Age limit: 32 years
   Pay scale: PB-2 (9300-34800/-) with GP of Rs.4200/-
   Qualifications: Candidate should have the degree of Bachelor of Engineering/ Technology or equivalent degree, in Civil or Electrical Engineering.
   Experience: At least 1 year of field experience in large building projects or Diploma in Civil/ Electrical Engineering.
2. Senior Library Information Assistant
   No. of posts: 1
   Age limit: 32 years
   Pay scale: PB-2 (9300-34800/-) with GP of Rs.4200/-
   Qualifications: Candidate should have Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent diploma in Library
   Science of a recognized University.
   Experience: 2 years of experience in library/ computerization of library.
3. Junior Technical Superintendent
   No. of posts: 4
   Age limit: 32 years
   Pay scale: PB-2 (9300-34800/-) with GP of Rs.4200/-
   Qualifications: Candidate should have degree of B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical/ Electronics, or Chemical or Mechanical or Computer Sc./ Engineering or in any other relevant discipline, or M.Sc. (Comp.Sc.) or MCA.
   Experience: At least 1 year of exp.
4. Junior Accountant
   No. of posts: 1
   Age limit: 27 years
   Pay scale: PB-1, Rs.5200-20200/- with GP of Rs. 2400/-
   Qualifications: Candidate should have the degree of B.Com. or equivalent .
   Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience and knowledge of accounting software.
5. Junior Assistant
   No. of posts: 2
   Age limit: 27 years
   Pay scale: PB-1, Rs.5200-20200/- with GP of Rs. 2000/-
   Qualifications: Candidate should be graduate.
   Experience: At least 2 years of experience in computer office application.
