The Himachal Pradesh State Pollution Control Board ( HPSPCB ) was established for the planning, promotion, co-ordination and overseeing the implementation of environmental programs. It consist of prevention & control of pollution and protection of environment. It has eleven Regional Offices, a Central Laboratory and three Regional Laboratories, which are catering to the diverse requirements in terms of environmental monitoring, surveillance and analysis of complex environmental parameters.

HPSPCB invites applications for the following posts on the contract basis:

R-1)  Assistant Environmental Engineer
No. of posts: 2
Salary: Rs. 15,600/- per month
Qualifications: Candidate should posses Bachelors degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering discipline as relevant to the laws being administered by the Board and /or the mandate of the Board.
R-2) Project Consultant
No. of posts: 1
Salary: Rs. 15,600/- per month
Qualifications: Candidate should posses Ph.D in the relevant subject as relevant to the laws being administered by the Board and /or the mandate of the Board.
Experience: At least 3 years of research or work experience in a reputed institute.
R-3 ) Scientific Officer
No. of posts: 1
Salary: Rs. 15,600/- per month
Qualifications: Candidate should posses M.Sc degree in relevant discipline as relevant to the laws being administered by the Board and /or the mandate of the Board.
R-4 ) Assistant Law Officer
No. of posts: 1
Salary: Rs. 12,090/- per month
Qualifications: Candidate should have Bachelors degree in Law with minimum 5 years of experience as an advocate.
R-5 ) Junior Scientific Officer
No. of posts: 2
Salary: Rs. 12,090/- per month
Qualifications: Candidate should have M.Sc Degree with 65% marks as relevant to the laws being administered by the Board and /or the mandate of the Board with a Bachelor’s Degree in Basic Sciences.
R-6 ) Junior Environmental Engineer
No. of posts: 7
Salary : Rs. 10790/- per month
Qualification: Candidate should have Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering discipline as relevant to the laws being administered by the Board and /or the mandate of the Board.
R-7 ) Junior Scientific Assistant
No. of posts: 1
Salary : Rs. 10790/- per month
Qualification: Candidate should have M. Sc. Degree in Environmental Science / Chemistry/ Micro- Biology with a Bachelor’s Degree in Basic Sciences.
R-8 ) Junior Accountant
No. of posts: 1
Salary: Rs. 8370/- per month
Qualifications: Candidate should posses the degree of B.Com and knowledge of Computer operations with at least one year Computer Training Certificate from a recognized / reputed institution.
C-1 ) Assistant Environmental Engineer
No. of posts: 1
Salary : Rs. 14000/- per month
Qualifications: Candidate should have bachelors degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering discipline as relevant to the laws being administered by the Board and /or the mandate of the Board.
C-2 ) Junior Scientific Assistant
No. of posts: 2
Salary : Rs. 10000/- per month
Qualifications: Candidate should have M. Sc. Degree in Environmental Science / Chemistry/ Micro- Biology with a Bachelor’s Degree in Basic Sciences.

Age limit for all the posts: 18 – 45 years
