The Defence Institute of Advanced Technology ( DIAT ) was setup in 1952.  It is a Deemed University. It create a centre of excellence for Education Training and Research in futuristic technologies.

DIAT ( DU ) invites applications for the following non teaching posts but candidates should not be more than 55 years of age :

1. Assistant Registrar
No. of posts: 3
Remuneration: Rs. 15600‐39100 with Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-
Qualifications: Masters Degree with 55% marks . Preference will be given to the candidate having the degree of M.Phil/ MBA/ /MCM, MCS, MCA/M.Ed from Govt. recognised university.
Experience: Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience of administration/Accounts as Superintendent as in an equivalent post in Government Department.

2. Registrar
No. of post: 1
Remuneration: Rs. 37400‐67000 with Grade Pay Rs. 10000/-
Qualification: Masters Degree with 55% marks . Preference will be given to the candidate having the degree of M.Phil/ MBA/ /MCM, MCS, MCA/M.Ed from Govt. recognised university.
Experience: Candidate should have at least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor with 8 years in Associate Professor’s grade along with experience in Higher Education Administration.

3. Deputy Registrar
No. of posts:2
Remuneration: Rs. 15600‐39100 with Grade Pay Rs. 7600/-
Qualification: Masters Degree with 55% marks . Preference will be given to the candidate having the degree of M.Phil/ MBA/ /MCM, MCS, MCA/M.Ed from Govt. recognised university.
Experience: Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience of administration/Accounts as Superintendent as in an equivalent post in Government Department.

4. Controller of examination
No. of post: 1
Remuneration: Rs. 37400‐67000 with Grade Pay Rs. 10000/-
Qualification: Master’s Degree with at least 55 % of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in UGC seven point scale.
Experience: Candidate should have at least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor with 8 years in Associate Professor’s grade along with experience in Higher Education Administration.

5. Librarian
No of post: 1
Remuneration: Rs. 37400‐67000 with Grade Pay Rs. 10000/-
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science Documentation with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in UGC seven-point scale. Preference will be given to the candidates with M. Phil./Ph. D Degree in Library Science/Information Science/     Documentation/ Archives and manuscript keeping.
Experience: At least 13 years of experience as Deputy Librarian in University Library or 8 years of experience as a College Librarian.
