Central Board of Secondary Education ( CBSE ) came into existence in 1952 and it was reconstituted in 1962. It serve the educational institutions more effectively, to be responsive to the educational needs of those students whose parents were employed in the Central Government and had frequently transferable jobs. Its main aim is to prescribe conditions of examinations and conduct public examination at the end of Class X and XII . To grant qualifying certificates to successful candidates of the affiliated schools.

CBSE invites ONLINE applications for the following positions:

1. Internal Auditor and Financial Advisor
No. of posts: 1
Age limit: Maximum 56 years
Pay scale: PB4 37400‐67000 + GP Rs.8700/‐
Place of posting: Delhi Headquarter
Qualifications: Candidate should be an Officers of the Central/State/Semi Government or Autonomous Organization.
Experience: Candidate should have experience of handling Administrative, Financial Budget/Accounts matters in a responsible capacity.

2. Education Officers
No. of posts: 1
Age limit: Maximum 56 years
Pay scale: PB4 37400‐67000 + GP Rs.8700/‐
Place of posting: Delhi Headquarter
Qualifications: Candidate should have Masters Degree in Mathematics/ Science/Commence
/Economics with degree in teaching Education and working knowledge of Hindi and English and degree in M.Phil is desired.
Experience: Candidate should have 10 years of experience as a Lecturer in NCERT/SCERT/State Institute of Education/Department of Education and experience in organizing seminars in‐service
courses, orientation programmes for teachers, symposia, educational conferences, sports rallies and General Library meets and also in handling vocational subjects.

3. Assistant secretary ( Legal )
No. of posts: 1
Age limit: Maximum 56 years
Pay scale: PB 3 Rs.15600-39100/-+GP of Rs.6600/-
Place of posting: Delhi Headquarter
Qualifications: Candidate should have the degree of Law and should hold analogous posts.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience of handling legal matters in the offices of Central Govt. /State Govt. /Autonomous Organizations .

4. Assistant Education Officer Ex‐cadre/isolated posts
No. of posts: 1
Age limit: Maximum 35 years
Pay scale: PB 3 Rs.15600-39100/-+GP of Rs.6600/-
Place of posting: Any of the Regional Offices / headquarters
Qualifications: Candidate should Should have PG Diploma in Teaching/Education.
Experience: At least five years experience in teaching of Sr. Secondary Classes or working in NCERT/SIE, Department of Education in States.

5. Assistant Vigilance Officer
No. of posts: 2
Age limit: Maximum 56 years
Pay scale: PB 3 Rs.15600-39100/-+GP of Rs.5400/-
Place of posting: Delhi headquarters
Qualifications: Should have Bachelors degree with training in Vigilance matters from IST&M or equivalent.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Vigilance matters, disciplinary proceedings in Govt organizations.

6. Accounts officer
No. of posts: 5
Age limit:56 years
Pay scale: PB 2 Rs. 9300- 34800/-+GP of Rs.5400/-
Place of Posting: Regional Offices‐ Panchkula, Allahabad, Patna Bhubaneswar and Hqrs. Delhi
Qualifications: candidates who have passed SAS/SOGE/JAO or any other equivalent Examination
conducted by the organized accounts Department of Central/State Govt. and must
be holding Analogous post on regular basis and should have Bachelors Degree.
Experience: Should have experience in the field of Accounts Compilation, Budget, Internal Audit, Commercial Accounting etc.

7. Section Officer (Legal) Cadre post
No. of posts: 2
Age limit: Maximum 40 years
Pay scale: PB 2 Rs. 9300- 34800/-+GP of Rs.4200/-
Place of Posting:R.O., Ajmer, Hqrs. Delhi
Qualifications: Candidate should have the Degree of Law or Bachelors Degree
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience on the post carrying the scale of pay of Rs.5500‐175‐
9000(pre‐revised) in the field of handling legal cases in a Central or State Govt. or autonomous organization or Public Sector Undertaking.

8. Assistant programmer
No. of posts: 8
Age limit: Maximum 30 years.
Pay scale: PB 2 Rs. 9300- 34800/-+GP of Rs.4200/-
Place of Posting: Any of the regional Offices/headquarter
Qualifications: Candidate should have Master’s Degree in Computer Application or Computer
Science or Information Technology.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the System Designing, Data Processing/ Programming / Data Management in a reputed Computer or Data Processing Organization.

9. Project Associate (Technical)
No. of posts: 5
Age limit: Maximum 33 years
Pay scale: PB 1 Rs.5200-20200/-+GP of Rs.2400/-
Place of Posting: Any of the regional Offices/headquarter
Qualifications: Candidate should be graduate with Certificate Course in Computer Applications.
Experience: At least 1 year of experience as Associate or equivalent in any Educational Project.

10. Executive Assistant
No. of posts: 12
Age limit: Maximum 30 years
Pay scale: PB 1 Rs.5200-20200/-+GP of Rs.2400/-
Place of Posting: Any of the regional Offices/headquarter
Qualifications: candidate should be graduate with knowledge of windows, MS Office, Fox base / Fox pro, Unix, Internet, HTML, Webpage Design and should have Typing Speed of 40 w.p.m
Experience: At least 2 years of experience of working in a large data processing environment.

11. Assistant
No. of posts: 9
Age limit: Maximum 25 years
Pay scale: PB 1 Rs.5200-20200/-+GP of Rs.2400/-

Qualifications: candidate should be graduate with Working Knowledge of Computer such as Windows, MS Office, Fox‐Base / Fox‐Pro, Unix, Use of Internet.
