Job in Bureau of Civil Aviation Security BCAS 2010


Bureau of Civil Aviation Security ( BCAS ) in January 1978 in the Directorate General of Civil Aviation  (DGCA). It is the regulatory authority for civil aviation security in India. Its head office is situated in New Delhi. was reorganized into an independent department on 1st April , 1987 under the Ministry of Civil Aviation as a sequel to the Kanishka Tragedy in June 1985. The main responsibility of BCAS are lay down standards and measures in respect of security of civil flights at International and domestic airports in India. It is an attached office of the Ministry of Civil Aviation.

Applications are invited by BCAS for the post of Joint Commissioner of Security (Civil Aviation) (General Central Service Group ‘A’ Gazetted- Non-Ministerial) and the details are as following:

Joint Commissioner of Security (Civil Aviation) (General Central Service Group ‘A’ Gazetted- Non-Ministerial)
Pay scale: PB – 3 with GP of Rs.10000/-
Age limit: Candidate should not be more than 56 years of age.
Qualifications: Candidate should hold analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/ department OR should have 2 years of regular service with pay scale of PB-4 and Grade Pay of Rs. 8900/-
Experience: Candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in dealing with security aspects including framing of Police Security and its monitoring.
Period of deputation: 3 years.

Last Date for the receipt of application form: 30th June 2010

    Respected Sir. I am post graduate (M.Sc.) in Environmental Botany with 55% marks. Completed one year Forensic Science Course and also having well computer knowlege. Kindly advised me is there any career in BCAS for me ?
