Jawaharlal Nehru Post Trust is a premier container port providing integrated logistics to the best interest of trade and customers. It is a port in Maharashtra, India that borders the Arabian Sea. This post is named after the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru. It fulfils the the needs and expectations of it’s customers through equipping itself with state-of-the-art equipment and technology and efficient, professional and computer integrated terminal operation systems. It is well connected to major highways and rail networks in India. Jawaharlal Nehru Port encompasses an area of 10 km² . New terminal access points and connecting roads are proposed but have not yet been constructed. It has three terminals: JNPCT, NSICT and GTI (Gateway Terminal of India).

Applications are invited by the JNPT for the post of Pilots and the details are as following:

Pilots
No. of posts: 6 posts are vacant out of which 2 for SC, 1 for ST, 1 for OBC and 2 for General categories.
Age limit: Candidate should not be more than 45 years of age.
Pay scale: Rs. 14500 – 350 – 18700/- with Pilot allowances as per rules.
Qualifications: Candidate should posses certificate of competency as masters of foreign going ships issued by the Ministry of Shipping or any other equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of India Under the Ministry of Shipping and should have full knowledge of Hindi language.
Experience: Candidate should have atleast one year of experience as a Chief Officer of Foreign going ships.
Note: Selected candidate has to go to for training and has to pass the required test .
