Jamia Hamdard was inaugurated on 1st August 1989. It is a Deemed University of higher learning in Unani Medicine, Islamic Studies, Biosciences, Pharmacy, Nursing. It also offers postgraduate and doctoral programmes in several disciplines for which advanced facilities are available. Jamia Hamdard is giving full residential facilities for the staff and students.

Jamia Hamdard invites applications for the various posts in HIMSAR in different specializations and the details are as following :

1. Nursing Superintendent
   No. of posts : 1
   Pay scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/-
   Qualifications : Candidate should have the degree of GNB / B.Sc Nursing .
2. Deputy Nursing Superintendent
   No. of posts : 1
   Pay scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4800/-
   Qualification : Candidate should have the degree of GNB / B.Sc Nursing .
3. Assistant Nursing Superintendent
   No. of posts : 5
   Pay scale : Rs. Rs. 9300 – 34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4800/-
   Qualification : Candidate should have the degree of GNB / B.Sc Nursing .
4. Ward Sister
   No. of posts : 27
   Pay scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4800/-
   Qualification : Candidate should have the degree of GNB / B.Sc Nursing and have done the course of Ward Sister Course / Administration course.
5. Staff Nurses
   No. of posts : 97
   Pay scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-
   Qualification : Candidate should have passed 12th exam with the degree of GNB / B.Sc .Nursing .

Last date for the receipt of application : 16th August 2010
Application form : DD of Rs. 300/- drawn in favour of Registrar, Jamia Hamdard payable at New Delhi.
