The Indian Space Research Organisation ( ISRO ) was setup with the aim to develop space technology and its application to various national tasks. It has established two major space systems, INSAT for communication, television broadcasting and meteorological services, and Indian Remote Sensing Satellites (IRS) system for resources monitoring and management. ISRO has developed two satellite launch vehicles, PSLV and GSLV, to place INSAT and IRS satellites in the required orbits.

ISRO invites applications for the post of Scientists / Engineers in various specialized fields :

Age limit for all the posts : Maximum 35 years
Pay scale : Rs.15600-39100 with GP of Rs.5400/-
Emolument : Rs.28,350/- per month

Qualification : Candidate applying for the above category should posses ME/M.Tech/MSc (Engg) or equivalent degree with at least 60% marks or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 scale or equivalent and pre-eligibility qualification of BE/B Tech/B Sc (Engg) or equivalent with minimum 65% marks.

Post Graduate Degree in Engineering [MSc ]

Qualification : Candidate should have MSc Degree with minimum 65% marks or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 scale or equivalent.

Last date for ONLINE registration : 6th August 2010
application fees : DD of Rs. 100/- drawn in favour of Sr. Accounts Officer, ISRO HQ, Bangalore payable at Bangalore. Demand Draft details need to be filled-in at the time of on-line registration.
Note : The Applicant should enter the DD Number, date and name of the Bank in the space provided for the same in the web application. After filing the application, on-line, the applicant has to send the DD with his Full Name , Post Number and Registration No. written on the reverse of the DD to Sr. Administrative Officer (ICRB), ISRO Headquarters, Antariksh Bhavan, New BEL Road, Bangalore – 560231 superscribing on the envelope "ISRO RECRUITMENT-SCI/ENGR-SC(ME/M.TECH/MSc)".
