The Indian Space Research Organisation ( ISRO ) develops space technology and its application to various national tasks. It  is one of the prestigious Department of Government of India responsible for the development of Space Science, Space Technology and Space Applications, having unit set up in various places in India. It has successfully operationalised two major satellite systems namely Indian National Satellites (INSAT) for communication services and Indian Remote Sensing (IRS) satellites for management of natural resources; also, Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) for launching IRS type of satellites and Geostationary Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) for launching INSAT type of satellites.

Applications are invited by ISRO for the recruitment in the Department of CEPO & CMDs :

1. Scientists / Engineers SC – Architecture
   No. of posts : 2
   Qualification : Candidate should posses Bachelor Degree in Architecture with registration with Council of Architecture with minimum 65% marks.
2. Scientists / Engineers SC – Civil
   No. of posts : 5
   Qualification : Candidate should the degree of B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc (Engg) / OR equivalent in Civil Engineering with at least 65% marks in aggregate.
3. Scientists / Engineers SC – electrical
   no. of posts : 5
   Qualification : Candidate should have the degree of B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc(Engg)/ OR equivalent in Electrical OR Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 65% marks.

Age limit for all the posts : Candidate should not be more than 35 years of age.
pay scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/-

Last date for ONLINE application : 8th September 2010
Application fees : DD of Rs. 100/- drawn in favour of the Sr. Accounts Officer, ISRO HQ, Bangalore, payable at Bangalore. Details of DD has to be filled-in at the time of on-line registration.
Note : The Applicant should enter the DD Number, date and name of the Bank in the space provided for the same in the web application. After filing the application, on-line, the applicant has to send the DD with his Full Name ,Post Number and Registration No. written on the reverse of the DD to Sr. Administrative Officer , ISRO Headquarters, Antariksh Bhavan, New BEL Road, Bangalore – 560231 by ordinary post superscribing on the envelope "CEPO RECRUITMENT".
