Indraprastha College for Women ( IP ) was started in 1924. It is also known as IP College and is affiliated to Delhi University. This is the best and very safe college for women students. The college has well built classrooms, library, beautiful garden and facilities for other recreational activities beyond academics. It also offers hostel facilities for students who come from other places for study.

Pay scale: Rs.15,600-39,100/- with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.6000/- and other allowances too.
Qualifications : Candidate should have scored minimum 55% marks (50% for candidates belonging to SC / ST or those who passed their Master’s degree prior to 19.09.1991 and hold a Ph. D degree) or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the master’s degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University and should have qualified the National eligibility Test (NET) for Assistant Professors/ Lectures conducted by the UGC / CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC.
