Indian Oil Company  was incorporated on 30th June 1959. It was renamed as Indian Oil Corporation Ltd on 1st September, 1964. The main object of the IOCL is to serve the national interests in oil and related sectors in accordance and consistent with Government policies, to optimise utilisation of refining capacity and maximise utilisation of the existing facilities for improving efficiency and increasing productivity.

IOCL invites applications for the following positions:

Stenographer Cum Junior Office Assistant –IV
Posts: 14
Age limit: Candidates should be between 18-32 years as on 1.06.2010.
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.5400-10850/-. The CTC to the company will be approximately Rs.3 lacs per annum.
Qualification: Candidates should be graduate in any discipline from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates should have a minimum shorthand/Typing speed in English @ 100/40 w.p.m. and in Hindi Shorthand/Typing speed @ 80/30 w.p.m.
Experience: Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in clerical jobs or secretarial assistance with the knowledge of computer such as MS Office.

Note: For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EXSM there is relaxable in Age limit as per rules. In Case of  English Shorthand/Tying speed should be 80/35  and in Hindi shorthand/typing speed should be 60/25 for SC/PWD & OBC candidates.  
Application fee: Candidates should pay an application fee by crossed Demand Draft of Rs.100/- in favour of Indian Oil Corporation Limited payable at SBI, Baholi , Panipat ( Branch Code 8706). No other more of payment is acceptable. Candidates must write their name, address on reverse of demand draft.
Applications complete in all respects should sent by Ordinary Post Only. On envelope Candidates should write the ‘ Name of the Post with Code No.’ to Post Box No. 128, Panipat –132103, Haryana. Applications sent through registered post, courier or speed posts will not be accepted.
