The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology ( IISST ) is a deemed university formed by the government of India in September 2007. It fulfils the requirements of ISRO . It also provides an excellent academic and research environment at International level to all its students. It offers Under Graduate, Post Graduate, Doctoral and Post-Doctoral programmes in space science & Technology.

IISST invites applications for the following positions:

1. Assistant Professors has to work under the area of specialisation of:
     * Microwave Components and Circuits  
     * Computer Network , Protocol  
     * Power Electronics
     * Inertial System and Instrumentation
     * Pattern Recognition/Computer Vision/Image Processing
        Candidate should be B.E/B.Tech or have a equivalent Degree in Electronics in First Class &
        M.E/ M.Tech in First Class and Ph.d in the same field.
        Candidate will get a Pay Scale of Rs.15600-39100.
        Candidate should have a maximum 40 years of age as on 1st March 2010.
2. Scientist /Engineer ‘SE’
       * Computer System Administrator-cum-Manager
        Candidate should be B.E/B.Tech or equivalent Degree in Electronics/ECE/CSE  having
        more than 60% marks with 8 years of experience as System/Network Administrator.
         Or
         Candidate should be M.E/M.tech having more than 60% marks with 6 years of Experience.
        Candidate should not be more than 45 years as on 1st March 2010.
        Candidate will get a Pay Scale of Rs.15600-39100.
3. Reader (on Contract)
       * Functional Analysis and Numerical  Analysis 
       Candidate should have more than 65% marks in M.Sc Math or 6.5 CGPA and Ph.d in Math
      * Soft Computing,Machine learning,Genetic Algorithm, Image Processing and Fuzzy logic
       Candidate should have more than 65% marks in M.Sc Math or 6.5 CGPA and Ph.d in Math
        or
        Candidate should be B.Tech with minimum 65% marks or 6.5 CGPA and Ph.d in Computer 
        Science. 
        Candidate should not be more than 35 years as on 1st March 2010.
        Candidate will get Rs. 40000/- as remuneration.
