Indian Air Force Vacancy 2010


Indian Air Force was established as an auxiliary air force of the RAF with the enactment of the Indian Air Force Act of 1932. The Indian Air Force has five operational and two functional commands and each and every Command is headed by an Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief with the rank of Air Marshal. With strength of approximately 170,000 and 1,550 aircraft in active service, the Indian Air Force is the world’s fourth largest.

Indian Air Force invites applications for grant of Permanent/ Short Service Commission in Technical Branches for the following courses :

No. 78 Aeronautical Engineers Course (AEC) (Permanent Commission for men)
No. 50 Short Service Commission Course (SSC) for Men and Women
University Entry Scheme (UES)
Age Criteria: Candidates should be between 18-28 years as on 1.1.2011
Qualification: Candidates should have a relevant degree with minimum 60% aggregate.

Last Date: 14.04.2010
Last Date: For far away areas is 21.04.2010 ( Andaman & Nicobar, Assam etc.)
