Income Tax Department Mumbai vacancy 2010


The system of direct tax is from ancient times . But the difference is that the method of taxation has changed. It becomes the duty of an Indian Citizen to pay tax honestly so that our government will give better facilities and environment to us.

The Chief Commissioner of Income tax CCI invites application for the various post in Mumbai branch:

Last date for the submission of application form: 15th March 2010.

1. 33 Posts  are available for Tax Assistants.
  Age Limit: Candidate has to be between 18 – 27 years of age .
  Pay scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with grade pay of Rs. 2400/-.
  Qualification: candidate should have the degree of graduation in any stream .and should have   
   data entry speed of 8000 key depressions per hour on computer.

2. 8 posts are for the Inspectors of Income Tax.
   Age limit: Candidate has to be between 20 – 27 years of age.
   Pay scale:  Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade pay of Rs. 4600/-.
   Qualification: Candidate should have the degree of Graduation from a recognised university.

3. 5 posts are vacant for Peon.
   Age limit: Candidate has to be between 18 – 25 years of age .
   Pay scale: Rs. 4440-7440 with Grade Pay of Rs. 1400/-.
  Qualification: Candidate has to be 8th Pass.

Note: Application should reach to “Chief Commissioner of Income Tax ( HQ ) Personnel, Room No.383, Aayakar Bhawan, M.K.Road, Mumbai-400020 before the last date.
