The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur is an autonomous engineering and technology oriented institute of higher education established by the Government of India in 1951. After Independence of India in 1947 IIT Kharagpur was established to train scientists and engineers. It has 19 academic departments, 8 multi-disciplinary centres/ schools and 13 schools of excellence in addition of laboratories and central research facilities.

IIT kharagpur invites application for the following positions:

1. Managing Director ( Institutional Development )
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.100000/- p.m approx.
Qualification: Candidates should have minimum 60% marks at graduation level in Engineering or MBA from a reputed institution.
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum 15 years of experience in the relevant field from a reputed organization.
2. Executive Officer
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.50000/- p.m approx.
Qualification: Candidates should have minimum 60% marks at graduation level in Engineering or MBA from a reputed institution.
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum 5 years of experience in the relevant field from a reputed organization.

Note: The above positions are on contractual basis with an initial period not exceeding three years, renewable on a year to year basis.
