The Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) are a group of fifteen autonomous engineering and technology-oriented  institutes of higher education. All IITs are autonomous universities that draft their own curricula and they are members of LAOTSE, an international network of universities in Europe and Asia. LAOTSE membership allows the IITs to exchange students and senior scholars with universities in other countries. IIT Hyderabad is one of the IITs in India. IITH was established in 2008. IIT Hyderabad is part of history in the making. The faculty, students and staff are creating a new institute, an institute, which in due course of time will make an indelible mark in education and research. Indo-Japan collaboration will be one of the unique strengths of IIT-H. The institute will also leverage the local presence of a wide-range of research and development laboratories and companies, both government and private, in the region.

IIT Hyderabad invites applications for the following positions :

Registrar
Posts: 1
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.37400-67000.
Qualification: Candidates should have a Master’s Degree in the relevant field with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent.
Experience: Candidates should have minimum 15 years of experience as Lecturer/ Assistant Professor/ Reader of which 8 years should be in the Assistant Professor’s Grade of Rs.12000-18300 (pre-revised) with experience in Educational Administration.  OR
Candidates should have relevant experience in research establishments and other institutions of higher education. OR
Candidates should have 15 years of administrative experience of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar in Rs.12000-18300 scale (pre-revised) or an equivalent post.
Deputy Registrar
Posts: 1
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.15600-39100.
Qualification: Candidates should have post graduate degree with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade.
Experience: Candidates should have 8 years experience as a lecturer in college or university with experience in educational administration. OR
Candidates should have 8 years administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or an equivalent post in Rs.8000-13500 (pre-revised) scale.
