The Indian Institute of Science Education & Research (IISER) Mohali was formed in 2007 by the Government of India under the Ministry of Human Resource Development. IISER put great emphasis to create a world class scientific institution with an intellectually alive atmosphere of research. It was established with the aim to carry out research in frontier areas of science and to
provide quality science education at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. 

IISER Mohali invites applications for the following posts :

Last date for the receipt of application : 30th August 2010

1. Registrar
   Pay scale : Rs. 37400 – 67000/- with GP of Rs. 10000/-
   Qualification : Candidate should have masters degree with minimum 55% marks .
   Experience : Minimum 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs. 7000 and above or with 8 years of service in the AGP of Rs. 8000 and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration and experience in administration, financial and personnel management, and ability to lead in an academic institution/University is desirable.
2. Deputy Librarian
   Pay scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with AGP of Rs. 8000/-
   Qualification : Candidate should posses Master’s degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation with 55% marks or its equivalent grade and M.Phil / Ph. D. degree in Library Science/ Information science / Documentation / Archives and manuscript-keeping / computerization of Library is desirable.
   Experience : Minimum 5 years of experience as an Assistant Librarian in an University/ College/IIT etc.
3. Assistant Engineer ( Electrical )
   Pay scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800/- with GP of Rs. 4600/-
   age limit : Candidate should not be more than 40 years of age.
   Qualification: Candidate should have Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent .
   Experience : At least 3 years of experience in the field of building electrical installations, sub station erection/power distribution in a large campus. Preference will be given to the candidates with experience in Maintenance of Elect. Works as per CPWD/ PSEB norms.
4. Office Assistant ( Multi Skill )
   Pay scale : Rs. 5200 – 20200/- with GP of Rs. 2800/-
   Age limit : Candidate should not be more than 32 years of age.
   Qualification : Candidate should posses bachelors degree with the knowledge of computer applications.
   Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience in the relevant field.

Application fees : DD of Rs. 100/- in favour of Registrar, IISER Mohali payable at Chandigarh.
