The Indian Institute of Public Administration ( IIPA ) was formed on 29th March 1954 and was inaugurated by Pt.Jawaharlal Nehru. It is an autonomous body under the Registration of Societies Act. It promotes the study of public administration and economic and political science with special reference to public administration and the machinery of government and for educational purposes incidental thereto. The activities of the Institute are organized in four inter-related areas of Research, Training, Advisory and Consultancy Services and Dissemination of Information.

Applications are invited by IIPA for the following posts:

1. Professor
   no. of posts: 1
   Department : Public Police and Governance
   Age limit: Candidate should not be more than 50 years of age.
   Qualifications: candidate should have qualification as per UGC Norms or A senior Administrator in All India , Central State undertakings.
   Experience: At least 10 years of experience in a Senior position relevant to the activities of the institute.
2. Associate Professors
   No. of posts: 6
   Departments: Public Police and Governance, E-Governance and ICT, Operation Management, Sociology, Financial Management, Environmental Policy and Management.
   Age limit: Candidate should not be more than 45 years of age.
   Qualifications: Candidate should have qualification as per UGC Norms or A practicing Administrator in a senior position in a government department.
   Experience: At least 7 years of experience in a Senior position relevant to the activities of the institute.
3. Deputy Registrar
   No. of posts: 1
   Age limit: Candidate should not be more than 45 years of age.
   Qualifications: Candidate should have qualification as per UGC Norms .

Pay scale : As per the UGC norms.
