Institute of Hotel Management Catering and Nutrition ( IHM ) , Gurdaspur was established by the Government of India under the aegis of Ministry of Tourism. It provide training and education in the field of Hospitality and Tourism Industry. It allow its students to work just after their graduation.

IHM Gurdaspur invites applications for the various posts and the details are as follows:

1. 1 post for Head of department
   Age limit: maximum 45 years
   Pay scale: PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100 + GP of Rs.6600/-+ other allowances
   qualifications: Candidate should be graduate with degree / diploma in Hotel Management from an Institute affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management/State Board of Technical Education .
   Experience: At least 5 years of experience as Senior Lecturer-cum-Senior Instructor in an Institute of Hotel Management affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology.
2. 2 posts for Lecturer – cum – Instructor
   Age limit: Maximum 35 years
   Pay scale: PB-2 Rs.9300-34800+ GP of Rs.4600/-+ other allowances
   Qualifications: Candidate should have Degree/Diploma with at least 55% marks in Hotel Management from an Institute affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management/State Board of Technical Education / Recognized University .
   Experience: At least 5 years of experience as Asstt. Lecturer-cum-Asstt. Instructor in an Institute of Hotel Management affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology.
3. 1 post for Assistant Lecturer-cum-Assistant Instructor
   Age limit: Maximum 30 years
   Pay scale: PB-2 Rs.9300-34800+GP of Rs. 4200/-+other allowances
   Qualifications: Candidate should have degree / diploma with 60% marks in Hotel Management from an Institute affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management /State Board of Technical Education / Recognized University.
   Experience: 3 years practical of experience in Hotel and Catering industry. OR At least 2 years of teaching experience in an Institute affiliated to National Council for Hotel management and catering Technology/State board of Technical Education/Recognized University.
