The Indira Gandhi National Tribal University ( IGNTU ) Amarkantak was formed on 8th July 2008 by an Act of the Parliament of India. The university caters to the tribal’s’ long cherished dream of higher education. It provide avenues of education, especially higher education and research facilities primarily for the tribal population of India and collaborate with national and international universities and organizations, especially for undertaking cultural studies and research on tribal communities. Actually this university is not only for tribal’s but the university is open to all.

IGNTU invites applications for the following posts on contract basis :

1. Project Engineer
   No. of posts : 1
   Qualification : Candidate should posses the degree of B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering OR Section ‘A’ & ‘B’ Examination ( AMIE ) of the institute of Engineers .
   Experience : Minimum experience of 10 years as assistant engineer OR as SDO CPWD or state PWD and 5 years as project engineer in CPWD .
2. Assistant Engineer
   No. of posts : 2 posts ( 1 for Civil & 1 for Electrical )
   Qualification : Candidate should have the degree of B.E in Civil / Electrical or equivalent recognized by AICTE OR Diploma in Civil Engineering.
   Experience : Minimum 3 years of experience as Junior Engineer .
3. Medical Officer
   No. of posts : 2 posts ( 1 for Male & 1 for Female )
   Qualification : male candidate should be MBBS with MD / Diploma in Clinical Subjects and Female candidate should be MBBS with MD / MS / Diploma in Obstetric Gynaecology  
   Experience : Working experience as Junior Doctor in Public or private sector.
4. Internal Auditor
   No. of post : 1
   Qualification : Candidate should be a retired officer from Government Acctt. / audit Department.
5. Nurse
   No. of posts : 2 posts
   Qualification : Candidate should have Higher Secondary Certificate in Science and have done Certificate course in General Nursing.

Contract Period : 6 months

Last Date : 31st July 2010
Application fees : DD of Rs. 200/- drawn in favour of Indira Gandhi National Tribal University payable at SBI Amarkantak.
