Indira Gandhi National Open University ( IGNOU ) was established on 19th November 1985 by Mr. Rajiv Gandhi – The prime Minister. At present IGNOU is the largest University in the world. It is serving the educational aspirations of over 2.6 million students in India and 36 other countries through the twenty-one Schools of Studies and a network of 61 regional centres, around 3000 learner support centres and around 60 overseas centres. The Visitor of the University is the President of India, and is the highest authority of the University.

IGNOU invites applications for the following post for eGyanKosh on contract basis and the details are as following :

1. Software Engineer
   No. of posts : 1
   Remuneration : Rs. 25000/- per month ( consolidated )
   Qualification : Candidate should have the degree of B.Tech / MCA .
   Experience : At least 3 years of working experience in JAVA, PHP, ASP.NET, LINUX, SOLARIS, WINDOWS, MySQL,SQL Server, Oracle.
2. Web Developer
   No. of posts : 2
   Remuneration : Rs. 20000/- per month ( consolidated )
   Qualification : Candidate should posses the degree of B.Tech / MCA .
   Experience : At least 2 years of working experience in ASP.NET, JAVA, PHP, SQL Server, Oracle, MySql, Postgre, WINDOWS, LINUX, SOLARIS.
3. Website Designer / Multimedia Programmer
   No. of posts : 2
   Remuneration : Rs. 20000/- per month ( consolidated )
   Qualification : Candidate should posses the degree of B.Sc(IT) or BIT with specialisation in designing or multimedia programming.
   Experience : At least 2 years of working experience in vector rendering and graphics animations, Flash, Photoshop, Coral Draw, 3D Animations.
4. Programmers
   No. of posts : 1
   Remuneration : Rs. 20000/- per month ( consolidated )
   Qualification : Candidate should have the degree of B.Tech / MCA .
   Experience : At least 2 years of working experience in ASP.NET , JAVA, PHP, LINUX, SOLARIS, WINDOWS, SQL Server, Oracle, MySql.
5. Computer Operator
   No. of posts : 2
   Remuneration : Rs. 13000/- per month ( consolidated )
   Qualification : Candidate should posses the degree of BCA/ B.Sc(IT)/ Graduation with basic computer skills.
   Experience : Minimum 1 year of experience in Office 2007, OCR Generator, Content Uploading, Adobe Acrobat, Scaning and Digitizing Content.
6. Trainees
   No. of posts : 5
   Remuneration : Rs. 5000/- per month ( consolidated )
   Qualification : Candidate should have the degree of BCA / BIT.
