Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) mains function is to conduct examination for appointments to the services of the state. To advice on all disciplinary matters affecting a person serving under the Government in civil capacity, including memorials or petitions relating to such matters, on all matters relating to the methods of recruitment to civil services and for civil posts, on the principles to be followed in making appointments to civil services and posts and in making promotions and transfers from one service to another and on the suitability of candidates for such appointments, promotions or transfers etc.

HPSC invites applications for the following positions :

Senior Scientific Officer Bacteriology in Health Department
Posts: 1
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.9300-34800.
Age limit: Candidates should be between 32-40 years as on 30.07.010
Qualification: Candidates should have Master Degree in Microbiology or Biochemistry with at least 60% marks OR   at least 50% marks in Master Degree in  Microbiology or Biochemistry or Bacteriology with 1 year of experience in the relevant field. OR  at least 60% marks in B.SC (Honours) in Microbiology or Biochemistry or Bacteriology with 3 years experience in the relevant field.
Company Secretary Class 1 in Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Hisar
Posts: 1
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.37400-67000.
Age limit: Candidates should be between 25-40 years as on 1.08.2010
Qualification: Candidates should have a Degree of Commerce with at least 50% marks from a recognized university . Qualified Company Secretary with membership of Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Candidates should have at least 5 years Post Qualification of experience in the relevant field.
Deputy Director of Agriculture HAS –I in the Agriculture Department
Posts: 1
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.15600-39100
Age limit: Candidates should be between 21-40 years as on 1.06.2010
Qualification: Candidates should have minimum 50% marks in M.SC Degree in Agriculture from a recognized University with five years of  practical experience in the relevant field.
Numismatic Officer ( Group B) in the officer of the Director Archaeology
Posts: 1
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.9300-34800
Age limit:Candidates should be between 21-40 years as on 15.06.2010
Qualification: Candidates should have M.A with minimum 50% marks in Ancient Indian History, culture and Archaeology from a recognized university and having a Post Graduate Diploma in Archaeology.

Note: Candidates should have Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric level for the above posts.
