Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education was established in 1969. It has 1650 Examination centres all over the State. its head quarter is situated at the foothills of the Dhauladhar ranges of western Himalayas overlooking picturesque Kangra valley of Himachal Pradesh. It conducts examinations for the 8th,10th, 11th and 12th classes plus examination like J.B.T., T.T.C and P.V.T.C. At present the Board has 438 official in total. It gives all the facilities to its candidates.

Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education invites applications for the post of Clerks and the details are as following :

Clerks
No. of vacancies : 33 posts ( General – 26, BPL – 6, Children / Grandchildren of Freedom Fighters – 1 )
Salary : Rs. 7810 /- per month consolidated
Age limit : Minimum 18 years and maximum 45 years of age.
Qualification : Candidate should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board / University and should have speed of at least 30 words per minute in English Type writing or 25 words per minute in Hindi Type writing.  Candidate should also have the knowledge of of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh with the knowledge of basic computers.

Last date for the receipt of application : 30th September 2010
Application fees : DD of Rs. 50/- drawn in favour of Secretary, H.P. Board of School Education , Dharmshala.

Board of School Education , Dharamshala – 176700. And an envelop containing teh application should be super scribed as  “ Application for the Post of Clerks on Contract Basis “
