Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) was established on 9th November 1967 by the Government of India under the administrative control of the Ministry of Mines. Its main production is of copper cathodes, copper wire bar, continuous cast copper rod and by-products, such as anode slime (containing gold, silver, etc.), copper sulphate and sulphuric acid. It has 4 operating Units, one each in the States of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and Maharashtra. Its Corporate office is situate din Kolkata.

1. General Manager ( Mining )
   Grade : E-8

   Pay scale : Rs. 51300 – 73000/-
   Age ; Maximum 50 years
   Qualification : Candidate should posses Degree in Mining or equivalent with 1st Class
   Mines Managers Certificate of Competency (Metal) Restricted/Unrestricted for Underground Mining under Metalliferrous Mines Regulations.
   Experience : At least 23 years of experience in a large mechanized Underground Metal mines.
2. Deputy General Manager ( Mining )
   Grade : E-7
   No. of posts : 2
   Pay scale : Rs. 51300 – 73000/-
   Age : Maximum 50 years
   Qualification : Candidate should posses Degree in Mining or equivalent with 1st Class
   Mines Managers Certificate of Competency (Metal) Restricted/Unrestricted for Underground Mining under Metalliferrous Mines Regulations.
   Experience : At least 20 years of experience in a large mechanized Underground Metal mines.
3. Chief Manager ( Mining )
   Grade : E-5
   No. of posts : 2
   Pay scale : Rs.36600 – 62000/-
   Age : Maximum 45 years
   Qualification : Candidate should posses Degree in Mining or equivalent with 1st Class
   Mines Managers Certificate of Competency (Metal) Restricted/Unrestricted for Underground Mining under Metalliferrous Mines Regulations.
   Experience : At least 14 years of experience in a large mechanized Underground Metal mines.
4. Senior Manager ( Mining )
   Grade : E-4
   No. of posts : 2
   Pay scale : Rs.29100 – 54500/-
   Age : Maximum 40 years
   Qualification : Candidate should posses Degree in Mining or equivalent with 1st Class
   Mines Managers Certificate of Competency (Metal) Restricted/Unrestricted for Underground Mining under Metalliferrous Mines Regulations.
   Experience : At least 11 years of experience in a large mechanized Underground Metal mines.
5. Assistant General Manager ( Geology )
   Grade : E-6
   No. of posts : 1
   Pay scale : Rs.43200- 66000/-
   Age : Maximum 45 years
   Qualification : Candidate should posses PG Degree in Geology.
   Experience : At least 17 years of experience in a large metal mining company out of
   which 5 years in a responsible position.
6. Deputy General Manager ( Mechanical )
   Grade : E-7
   No. of posts : 1
   Pay scale : Rs.43200- 66000/-
   Age : Maximum 50 years
   Qualification : Candidate should posses degree in Mechanical Engineering.
   Experience : At least 20 years of experience in Mechanical maintenance with the knowledge of latest maintenance practice / technique.
7. Assistant General Manager ( Mechanical )
   Grade : E-6
   No. of posts : 2
   Pay scale : Rs.36600 – 62000/-
   Age : Maximum 45 years
   Qualification : Candidate should posses degree in Mechanical Engineering.
   Experience : At least 17 years of experience in Mechanical maintenance with the knowledge of working in ERP environment.

   Grade : E-7

   Age : Maximum 50 years
   Qualification : Candidate should posses degree in Electrical Engineering.
   Experience : At least 20 years of experience in maintenance of Electrical equipment like
   Transformers, Motors, Switch Gears.

    Qualification : Candidate should be graduate with PG Degree / Diploma in Management with specialization in Personnel Management / Social work or equivalent.
    Experience : At least 23 years of post qualification experience.
12. Assistant General manager ( Human Resource )
    Grade : E-6

    Pay scale : Rs.43200- 66000/-
    Age : Maximum 45 years
    Qualification : Candidate should be graduate with PG Degree / Diploma in Management with specialization in Personnel Management / Social work or equivalent.
    Experience : At least 17 years of post qualification experience .
13. Manager ( Materials & Contracts )
    Grade : E-3
    No. of posts : 2
    Pay scale : Rs.24900 – 50500/-
    Age : Maximum 30 years
    Qualification : Candidate should have Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce or Engineering with Post Graduate degree / Diploma in Materials Management or MBA with specialization in
    Materials Management.
    Experience : At least 8 years of post qualification experience in procurement of spare parts and replacements, quality control of purchasing and ordering such parts, and the process involved in ordering, shipping, and warehousing and inventory control.
