The main Duty of Staff Selection Commission ( SSC ) is to recruit gazetted and non gazetted posts in the departments of Governments of India. It conducts Departmental Examinations to promote from Group D to LDC grade and LDC to UDC Grade . It has 9 regional / sub – regional offices in various parts of the country. The Haryana Staff Selection Commission ( HSSC ) comes under this category. It carry all the services of Haryana state.
