Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited. ( GRSE ) was established in 1884. The company was taken over by the Government of India on 1st April, 1960. It is no. one & the leading shipyards in the country and the premier yard in the East. Its main work is to build  a wide range of ships from modern Warships to sophisticated Commercial Vessels, from small Harbour Craft to fast and powerful Patrol Vessels.

GRSE invites applications for the following posts :

1. 1 post is for Additional General Manager
   Field : Material
   Age limit : Maximum 50 years
   Pay scale : Rs. 36600-3%-62000/-
   Qualification : Candidate should be Graduate Engineers in Mechanical / Electrical / Production Discipline with PG Diploma / MBA in Material Management / Supply Chain.
   Experience : At least 20 years of experience in Material Management in ship Building .
2. 5 posts are for Deputy General manager
   Field : Material, Contract management, Civil, Ship Design, Ship design.
   Age limit : Maximum 50 years
   Pay scale : Rs. 32900-3%-58000/-
   Qualification : Candidate should be Graduate Engineers in any stream with PG Diploma.
   Experience : At least 15 years of experience in the related field in ship building.
3. 5 posts are for Senior Manager
   Field : Material, Corporate Planning & Market initiatives
   Age limit : Maximum 47 years
   Pay scale : Rs. 29100-3%-54500/-
   Qualification : Candidate should be Graduate Engineers with PG Diploma / MBA in the related field.
   Experience : Minimum 11 years of experience in the relevant field in a ship building Industry .
4. 5 posts for Manager
   Field : Ship Planning, Bailey Bridge/Portable Steel Bridge, Yard Modernisation,Industrial Engineering & Process, security.
   Age limit : maximum 44 years .
   Pay scale : Rs. 24900-3%-50500/-
   Qualification : Candidate should be Graduate Engineers in any stream .
   Experience : At least 8 years of experience in the relevant field.
5. 16 posts are for Deputy manager
   Field : Ship Production, Ship Design, Ship Planning, Material, Deck machinery,Engineering Services, Medical.
   Age limit : Maximum 42 years
   Pay scale : Rs. 20600-3%-46500/-
   Qualification : Candidate should be Engineering Graduate in Material discipline.
   Experience : Minimum 5 years of experience in the relevant field.
6. 16 posts are for Assistant Manager
   Field : Ship Production, Corporate Planning & strategic Management, EDP, Yard Modernisation, Quality Assurance, Portable Steel Bridge, Technical Training, Administration/Transportation, Human Resource, material.
   Age limit : maximum 37 years
   Pay scale : Rs. 16400-3%-40500/-
   Qualification : Candidate should be Engineering Graduate in Material discipline.
   Experience : Minimum 1 year of experience in the relevant field. 
7. 3 posts are for Junior Manager
   Field : Ship Production, Quality Assurance, Hindi translation
   Age limit : Maximum 32 years
   Pay scale : Rs. 12600-3%-32500/-
   qualification : candidate should be Graduate in engineering.
