The Goa Public Service Commission ( GPSC ) was constituted on 26th May 1988. It advises the Government on all matters relating to State Civil Services referred to it under Article 320 (3) of the Constitution. Its main function is to conduct examinations for appointments to the civil services of the State of Goa. The Commission consists of Chairman and two Members.

Goa Public Service Commission invites applications for the post of Lecturers in Goa Dental College & Hospital and the details are as following :

Lecturers

Subjects :

• Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge – 1 post
• Oral Pathology & Microbiology – 1 post
• Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery – 1
• Period ontology – 1
• Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry – 2
• Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics – 2
• Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics – 3
• Oral Medicine and Radiology – 1
• Public Health Dentistry – 2 posts

Pay scale : Rs. 15600-39100/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/-
Age limit : Candidate should not be more than 40 years of age .
Qualification : Candidate should posses Post Graduate qualification in Dentistry i.e. Master of Dental Surgery in concerned speciality/subject from a recognized Institution and should be registered with Dental Council. Knowledge of Marathi is must.
Experience : Minimum 3 years of experience as Registrar/Tutor/Senior Resident/Demonstrator in the concerned Speciality of Dentistry in a recognized Dental College /Medical College with Dental Wing/Dental Institution. (v) Knowledge of Konkani and 1 year of teaching experience after post
graduation in a recognized institute is desirable.
