GEER Foundation Gandhinagar Vacancies 2010


Gujarat Ecological Education and Research (GEER) Foundation is an autonomous body established in 1982 by the Government of Gujarat under Forests & Environment Department. The Foundation is governed by a Board of Governors chaired by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat. It offers services in Govt/ Defence/ Embassies with Annual Total Turnover of 0-10 crores and with Employee Strength of 51-100.

GEER Foundation invites application for various posts under the World bank funded India integrated  Coastal zone Management Project to be implemented in Gulf of Kutch / Khambhat Region and the details are as follows :

  1. 1 post for Scientists
    Salary : Rs. 20000/- with 10% HRA
    Qualification : Candidate should have the degree of Ph.D ( Marin Biology / Environmental science / Ecology / Life Science ) with at least 5 years of experience .
  2. 3 posts are for Research Associates
    Salary : Rs. 18000/- with 10% HRA
    Qualification : Candidate should have the degree of Ph.D ( Marin Biology / Environmental science / Ecology / Life Science ) with 3 – 5 years of experience .
  3. 7 posts are for Junior Research Fellow ( JRF )
    Salary : Rs. 12000/- with 10% HRA
    Qualification : Candidate should have the degree of M.Sc ( Botany / Zoology / Environmental Science / Forestry / Marine Science ) with 1 – 2 years of experience .
  4. 11 posts are for Field Assistants
    Salary : Rs. 6000/- with 10% HRA
    Qualification : Candidate should have the degree of M.Sc ( Botany / Zoology / Environmental Science / Forestry / Marine Science ).
  5. 1 post is for Accounts Officer
    Salary : Rs. 22000/- with 10% HRA
    Qualification : Candidate should have 2 years of PG Degree with MBA ( Finance ) / ICWA / CA with 5 years of post qualification experience.
  6. 1 post for Statistician / Analyst
    Salary : Rs. 18000/- with 10% HRA
    Qualification : Candidate should have the degree of M.Sc ( Statistics ) / M.Com ( Statistics ) with 3 – 5 years of experience .
  7. 1 post for Accountant
    Salary : Rs. 11000/- with 10% HRA
    Qualification : Candidate should have 2 years of PG Degree with MBA ( Finance ) / ICWA / CA with 1 – 2 years of post qualification experience.
  8. 1 post for Computer Person
    Salary : Rs. 11000/- with 10% HRA
    Qualification : Candidate should be graduate with one year of Certificate or Diploma in Computer applications and with minimum 5 years of experience in the relevant field.

Last date : 15th August 2010
