Food Corporation of India ( FCI ) was setup in 1965. It is a food security system which has helped to sustain the agricultural growth rate. It is an ISO 9001:2000 certified company. It maintains satisfactory level of operations and buffer stock of food grains to ensure National Food Security.

FCI invites applications from Indian Nationals for the following posts and the Last Date has been extended to 29th June 2010:

1. 9 posts are for Deputy General Manager ( Accounts )
   Code No.: 01
   Pay scale: Rs.24900-50500/-
   Age limit: 35 years
   qualifications: Candidate should have passed ACA/AICWA/ACS/CFA with at least 5 years of experience OR should be MBA ( Finance ) with 2 years of experience and proficiency in Computer application is desirable.
2. 1 post is for Deputy General Manager ( General Administration )
   Code : 02
   Pay scale: Rs.24900-50500/-
   Age limit: 35 years
   qualifications: Candidate should be Graduate or should posses PG Diploma in Business Management/ Industrial Relations/MCA or equivalent qualification from a recognized University/reputed Management Institutes recognized by Ministry of Human Resources Development with at least 5 years of experience in an executive position in a Government Department/a large private/ public sector undertaking.
3. 1 post is for Deputy General Manager ( Electrical/Mechanical )
   Code:03
   Pay scale: Rs.24900-50500/-
   Age limit: 40 years
   qualifications: Candidate should posses degree in the relevant discipline of Engineering and candidates with PG Diploma will be preferred with at least 7 years of experience in an executive position in the concerned discipline of engineering.
4. 3 posts are for Assistant General manager ( Legal )
   Code: 04
   Pay scale: Rs.20600-46500/-
   Age limit: 30-40 years
   Qualifications: Candidate should have done Law with at least 5 year of experience in legal work in Central/State Govt. or a Public/Private Sector Undertaking or 3 years practice at Bar.
5. 1 post for Assistant General Manager ( Technical)
   Code: 05
   Pay scale: Rs.20600-46500/-
   Age limit: 35 years
   Qualifications : Candidates should have degree in Agriculture, or Degree in Science with Diploma in Food Technology or Master’s Degree in Zoology or Biochemistry or equivalent qualifications with at least 5 years of experience in storage of food-grains and maintenance of stocks or in the examination,inspection and analysis of food grains in government sectors undertakings.
6. 1 post for Medical Officers
   Code: 06
   Pay scale: Rs.9700-280-15860/-
   Age limit: 35 years
   Qualifications: Candidate should be MBBS with at least 3 years of experience in any recognized Medical Institution, preferably in a labour organization. Experience as House Surgeon/ Resident Doctor while pursuing MD Course would reckon as experience provided it is acquired after completing Internship.
