Food Corporation of India ( FCI ) plays an important role in the success of India in transforming the crisis management oriented food security into a stable security system. It was setup under the Food Corporation Act 1964 It provides food grains available at reasonable prices to the lower section of the society. It is the largest Public Sector Undertakings, dealing with Food grain supply-chain management.

FCI Eastern Zone invites applications from Indian Nationals for the following posts and the details are :

1. Assistant Grade III ( general )
   No. of vacancies : 86 posts
   Qualification : candidate should be graduate along with ‘O’ level computer qualification of DOEACC OR should posses computer science degree.
2. Assistant Grade III ( Accounts )
   No. of vacancies : 98 posts
   Qualification : Candidate should be graduate in Commerce/ Mathematics/ Statistics.
3. Assistant Grade III ( Quality Control )
   No. of vacancies : 101 posts
   Qualification : Candidate should be graduate in Science ( Agriculture ).

Age limit : Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years
Pay scale : Rs. 9300 – 22940/-

Last date to apply ONLINE : 14th September 2010
Date of written Examination : 21st November 2010
Application fees : DD of Rs. 300/- drawn in favour of Food Corporation of India payable at Kolkata.
