FCI Chennai Recruitment 2010 ( South Zone )


Food Corporation of India ( FCI ) is the largest Public Sector Undertakings, dealing with Food grains. It has played a significant role in India’s success in transforming the crisis management oriented food security into a stable security system. Its main aim is to make food grains available at reasonable prices, particularly to vulnerable section of the society.

FCI Chennai invites applications from Indian Nationals for the post of Assistant grade III in different departments and the details are as following :

  1. Assistant Grade III ( Accounts )
    Code : 02
    No. of posts : 70
    Age limit : Candidate should not be more than 25 years of age.
    Pay scale : Rs. 9300 – 22940/-
    Qualification : Candidate should be graduate with Commerce / Mathematics / statistics as a subject and should be O’ level computer qualification of DOEACC/Degree in Computer Science or Computer Application.
  2. Assistant Grade III ( Technical )
    Code : 03
    No. of posts : 300
    Age limit : Candidate should not be more than 25 years of age.
    Pay scale : Rs. 9300 – 22940/-
    Qualification : Candidate should have the degree of B.Sc ( Agriculture ) and ‘O’ level computer qualification of DOEACC/Degree in Computer Science or Computer Application.
  3. Assistant Grade III ( Depot )
    Code : 04
    No. of posts : 132
    Age limit : Candidate should not be more than 25 years of age.
    Pay scale : Rs. 9300 – 22940/-
    Qualification : Candidate should be graduate from any stream and O’ level computer qualification of DOEACC / Degree in Computer Science or Computer Application.

Last date for the receipt of ONLINE Application : 7th September 2010
Date of written test: 28th November 2010
Application fees : DD of Rs. 300/- drawn in favour of Food Corporation of India, payable at Chennai
Note : Application can be made in ONLINE mode only. The candidates who apply online have to fill all the details online, then take a print out of filled form, affix photo & put signatures at designated places & then send the form along with DD & photocopies of certificates to the Post Box Number.
