Employees State Insurance Corporation ( ESIC ) is a multidimensional social system tailored to provide socio-economic  protection to worker population and their dependents established in 1952. It provides for certain benefits to Employees in case of sickness, maternity and employment injury and to make provisions for related matters. Employees are entitled to cash benefits in the event of specified contingencies resulting in loss of wages or earning capacity. The insured women are entitled to maternity benefit for confinement. Where death of an insured employee occurs due to employment injury, the dependants are entitled to family pension. It has members representing employers, employees, the Central Government, State Governments, medical profession and the Parliament.

ESIC Hyderabad invites applications from Indian Nationals for the post of Lower Division Clerks and the details are as following :

Lower Division Clerks ( LDC )
No. of posts : 42 posts
Pay scale : Rs. 5200 – 20200/- with Grade pay of Rs. 1900/-
Age limit : Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years of age.
qualification : Candidate should have passed Higher Secondary or equivalent examination and should have working knowledge of computer including use of Office Suites and Database with
typing speed of 40 words per minute in English or 35 words per minute in Hindi.

Last date for the receipt of application : 24th September 2010
Examination Centre : Hyderabad
Examination Fees : DD of Rs. 225/- drawn in favour of Regional Director, ESI Corporation, payable at Hyderabad from any Nationalized Bank.
